In response to customer requests and as a result of ongoing research
we have significantly improved the operation of D Sculptor in several
ways.
Automatic marker detection
D Sculptor 2 now automatically detects the markers needed for working
out camera locations. This reduces the number of clicks and time
taken to make the models considerably.
It remains possible to insert markers manually, even in the old
square pattern if required. This makes for great flexibility as
it allows you to model large outdoors objects as well.

Automatic masking tools
In order to speed the masking process D Sculptor 2 has an
advanced magic wand tool as well as intelligent masking acceleration
to take the hard work out of creating the masks needed to make models.
An automatic start for an object mask can be made just by clicking
one button.

More advanced engine
The D Sculptor modelling engine which was already the
most advanced of its kind has been further improved to give even better
shape and texture map fidelity. |
Improved user interface
Experience from D Sculptor 1 has led to a design of user interface
which can be navigated with a much reduced number of clicks.
All project information can be quickly and easily accessed via
the new D Sculptor project explorer.
Many models can now be made in a matter of minutes.

Improved Export
D Sculptor's export filters have been improved
and now include standard 3D Studio export as well as export in Macromedia's
Shockwave format, now also with supplied applet that allow you to
publish models in Shockwave format straight from D Sculptor. |

Advanced Professional features
The professional version of D Sculptor 2 allows for
even faster and more accurace modelling with extra
features like sub-component modelling and project merging. |
